If a person writes a blog and there is no one around to read it... does it still have a point?

Queasy

Things have certainly been quiet for an extended period of time now. Not that there isn't significant drama in my life, I'm just reluctant to acknowledge it. It's sort of the Tobey style of dealing with unpleasant things... "if I don't look at that big scary dog, he can't hurt me."

Instead, I would like to brighten the mood by bringing you the following official quote by Michael Boyd, president of an aviation consulting company, who was asked to comment on US Airways' announcement of their intent to place advertisements on their air-sickness bags.

"Barf bags have a lot of shelf life - people aren't barfing as much in planes as they used to."

Brilliant. No doubt he read up on quite a bit of scientific research to come up with that nugget of wisdom. Forget the fact that it's not quite right to say something has "a lot of" shelf life; I don't think it's possible to sound intelligent when you use the word "barf" not once, but twice in the same statement. Hey, that's just what I think, which probably doesn't count for much since I'm not the president of a company getting solicited for official comments.
